This is something I have been thinking about for a little bit.
I watch a lot of youtube Let's Play videos. I don't have the funds to buy the games, systems or the time to dedicate to just playing. Have to multitask, so the video is in the background and where I could watch movies or shorts, I choose to watch lets play's cus they kind of reminded me of the days when friends and I would play games together.
Recently though, one of my favorites has been frustrating enough that I am not enjoying them as I used to and tend to not finish watching prerecorded or live shows. Video Games Awesome.
I have always enjoyed the show, production values, banter, costumes and Becky I remember seeing the previous iteration on TGWTG where it was a skit show. That show did nothing for me. Seemed too forced. With the current setup I have always enjoyed it. That is until these last couple of months. I know that Fraiser will troll the chat from time to time and he will push the game to see the flaws but recently I am finding his play throughs frustrating, the entertainment value has diminished a little bit.
That said, this is my opinion from outside the gamer community and from JUST a consumers point of view. So its uninformed and just my surface observation. Armchair gaming if you will.
It just seems that he is artificially not learning from previous gaming experiences. In the game Evil Within I could tell from just a small amount of game play that it has elements from Last of Us in crafting items and distracting enemies. Just seems that he is purposefully blocking out gaming experiences. This drags out the show and his frustrations with the UI couple be solved by paying attention to mission notes, tutorials and some common sense that all come from a long time gaming experience. I'm probably wrong.
Don't know if its just me or there are other factors, like Ben becoming a guest appearance, and the other members too showing up based on schedules lining up. Almost feels like a 90's sitcom that was going good off the standup routines for the first 3 years then they run out of material and start going into their darker baggage and the show is not as funny anymore.
Maybe my tastes are changing, staying the same and the show is evolving without me or they could be in a funk. I will keep watching and see.
Just me getting something off my chest and now I will go back to my sketching. Gots commissions to finish and ports to imagine

Removing old art from STASH
Good evening, Just wanted to send a message out to anyone that commissioned me in the past from 2015-2020 AND I sent them art through DAs STASH storage. I am going to be removing it to make space for future endeavors. I am guessing that most folks would have saved copies but if you have been dependent on the STASH link those files are going to be removed in 2 weeks. I"ll give a second warning around removal in a week from now and then a day before removal.
2 months after hospital
This is an update that I need to do as motivation to get up and move forward again. Back in february I was hospitalized with gangrene infection. My wound was healed somewhere around the end of March, start of April. There are other physical issues that I still need to work on and there is some mental health issues that I am currently dealing with. While I have been drawing lately at a higher frequency I have not really come back to social media. Just had not been ready to socially interact with folks as I have been fatigued from too much physical and mental stress. Its going to take a while to get my strength back is the short of it. As I have been drawing, I have been getting a few messages asking if I am open for commissions. The general answer is no, there are commissions from before February that I have not finished and I need to get with those folks to see if they are still up for it and to schedule a completion for them. Its going to take me a while to get all of that done but
Back from Hospital
Just a couple updates before I laydown. I have been in the hospital for a week for emergency surgery to remove gangrene. Not as bad as it could have been. The head surgeon was a true human being, gave me a hug when I needed it. I am home now and with home treatment but I can walk mostly and will be a while before sitting sleeping and walking are mostly normal. While I shouldn't be thinking about it, I know a gigantic bill is coming from my stay. That is something I will have to work on as it comes. For now, I need to eat health, take my meds and get some rest. Side note: I really need to get some social media on my phone so its not an abrupt message out of the blue.
Watching shows
Thanksgiving was good, Got my big project out of the way and now I can get back to drawing again. More on that later, spent most of saturday in bed with a migraine, I think. Light hurt a bit and staying in the dark felt better. Had my little tv on with some of my favorite youtube, some Last Podcast on the Left, Jenny Nicholson, and some other small podcasts that I could listen to with the screen covered. Later in the night I was better and got to watching some other stuff. Started watching the Netflix Live action Cowboy Bebop. Netflix has not had a good record of producing or licensing live action anime adaptations. I decided to give Bebop a try and to try and leave my bias and love of the anime to the side. Got through the first two episodes and I was left with a feeling on it. It was hard to put my finger on it but after the second episode I figured it out. The set production is cheap, no it's more of stage setting. The dialog banter is kind of funny and light hearted and the

I like to watch DarksydePhil because his ineptness is entertaining
